The Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open presented by Planters is a new event on the PGA TOUR’s Nationwide Tour making its debut Oct. 18-24, 2010.  A full week of festivities is in store for sponsors looking for a first-class experience and an opportunity to showcase their companies and/or brands in a premier setting.

Highlights include the first-annual “Dole Pro-Am” and the opportunity to experience some of the greatest golf in the world on the courses of the famed TPC Sawgrass – home of THE PLAYERS Championship.  Each Dole Pro-Am team will be paired with a Nationwide Tour professional, making for an unforgettable golf experience and an invaluable business and customer entertainment opportunity.

With the Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open presented by Planters being the last tournament before the season-ending Nationwide Tour Championship, the tournament is ensured a strong field and much excitement as players make their final push to be a part of “THE 25″ – the group of players who earn their PGA TOUR cards for the following year.  It all promises to make for an exciting week for sponsors and spectators alike!
